Course Registration and Access

All course registrations are for individual use only. Upon purchase, you will receive unique login credentials that grant access to the training materials for your personal use. Course content, including video lessons, quizzes, and downloadable materials, is provided for educational purposes and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared with others without prior written consent.

Registration and participation in the course does not transfer ownership of any course materials to the purchaser. All content remains the intellectual property of DOT Inspection Course.

Device and Technical Requirements

It is the responsibility of the user to ensure their device is capable of accessing the course content, including video playback, web browsing, and downloading PDF documents. The course is delivered through an online learning management system and requires a stable internet connection. We recommend using an up-to-date web browser for the best experience.

Payments and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor. We do not store credit card information on our servers. Please review your purchase carefully before completing your order, as duplicate purchases made in error may not be eligible for a refund.

If you are unsatisfied with the course, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by contacting us at support@dotinspectioncourse.com. Refund requests made after 7 days or after course completion will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Course registrations that have been purchased but not yet started may be transferred to another individual upon request. Once a course has been started, transfers are not permitted.

Account Registration

To access the course, you must create an account by providing your name and a valid email address. This information is used to grant access to the training platform, deliver course materials, issue your Certificate of Completion, and communicate with you regarding your enrollment. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.

Course Content and Disclaimer

The training provided in this course is based on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations under 49 CFR Parts 393 and 396, including Appendix A to Part 396. All content has been verified against the current Code of Federal Regulations at the time of course creation. However, federal regulations are subject to change, and it is the responsibility of the user to verify current requirements as needed.

This course is intended for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Completion of this course does not guarantee compliance with any specific federal, state, or local regulation. Individual states may have additional requirements beyond the federal standards covered in this training. Inspector Qualification

This course is designed to satisfy the training component of the inspector qualification standards outlined in 49 CFR Section 396.19. The regulation also requires that inspectors demonstrate capability through experience, training, or both. Completion of this course alone may not be sufficient to meet all qualification requirements. The qualification form provided with the course recommends at least one year of relevant experience in addition to this training. It is the responsibility of the motor carrier to determine whether an individual meets all applicable qualification standards.

We are not liable for any violations, fines, penalties, or damages arising from the use or application of the information provided in the course. By enrolling, you acknowledge that the responsibility for performing inspections in accordance with applicable regulations rests solely with the inspector and the motor carrier.
